Irish Nachos

St. Patrick's Day is a fun day everyone can enjoy. The festivity begins on March 17th with wearing green to avoid getting pinched. Also, you have to flash the shamrocks to get some of that Irish luck. By the end of the day, be ready to feast like the Irish. To me, St. Patrick's Day is the perfect excuse to gather some friends, booze and snacks to enjoy the party.
This St. Patties day, put a little twist on the usual bar food. What's more Irish than beef and potatoes? I turned my favorite party nachos into Irish nachos. The twist is to use thick cut potato chips instead of traditional tortilla chips. Yummy right?
Irish nachos are really simple to make. I take ground beef and cook it on a skillet with cooking oil. Season the beef with taco seasoning. Layer the plate with plenty of potato chips, seasoned beef, shredded cheese, sour cream, sliced jalapenos and chopped green onions. To go all out, layer the ingredients multiple times for a decadent Irish nacho platter. Add hot sauce if you like. Pair it with your favorite booze and call it a party! Don't forget to drink green beer!
Cheers!
