3 Summer Crafts for the Crayola CIY Book

If you have not picked up the Crayola CIY Book yet for your kiddos... do yourself a favor and grab it before Summer boredom kicks in. It also makes a perfect birthday gift for a kiddo! This week on my Crayola Facebook live broadcast I am sharing 2 crafts from the Summer section of the Crayola CIY Book and one of my favorites from Crayola.com. Below you will find an overview of the materials needed and you can watch the tutorials in my live broadcast. 

Kids Summer Crafts

Project 1: Father's Day Photo Transfer  

DIY Father's Day Photo Craft for Kids

Materials:

  • Crayola Washable Glue
  • Crayola Watercolor Paint and Brush
  • Crayola Super Tip or Take Note Markers
  • Scissors
  • Printed Black and White Photo on Printer Paper 

I'm so excited to give this to my hubby for Father's Day! This is one of the 52 seasonal crafts in the CIY Book. 

DIY Father's Day Photo Craft for Kids

Project 2: Terrarium

Materials:

  • Glass fish bowl or wide vase
  • Crayola Air Dry Clay or Model Magic 
  • Crayola Window Markers and/or Crayons
  • Crayola Glitter Glue
  • Dirt

How fun is this craft for the kiddos! They can get creative make other critters. 

DIY Terrarium for Kids

Project 3: Pineapple Shoes

I love decorating shoes and this easy pineapple design is great for kiddos or adults. This full tutorial is available on Crayola.com

Materials:

  • White Canvas Shoes
  • Crayola Fabric Markers and/or Take Note Permanent Markers
