Mardi Gras Desserts & Treats

We love creating picture perfect celebration but not spending hours in the kitchen. Check out these two easy hacks that will wow your family and friends! 

 
Mini King Cakes 
Ingredients:
  • 1 can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
  • Purple, yellow and green sprinkle sugar
Directions: 
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit 
  2. Open can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. Use a short knife to slice the roll into 1 inch segments
  3. Set the included can of icing aside
  4. Unroll each segment, twist and form a complete circle on a greased/non- stick pan
  5. Bake for 18 -20 minutes or until the tops are slightly brown
  6. Icing each cake while it is hot and decorate with sprinkle sugar
makes about 8 mini king cakes
Chocolate Dipped Oreos
Ingredients:
  • Vanilla Oreos 
  • 2 cups of white chocolate morsels 
  • Purple, yellow and green sprinkle sugar
  • Parchment paper
Directions:
  1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave until completely smooth. Stirring frequently
  2. Dip Oreos half way into the chocolate and then lay flat on parchment paper and immediately sprinkle with colored sugar
  3. Let chocolate harden before serving or storing
makes about 15-20 Oreos
