Homemade Kool-Aid Dough

by Lynn Lilly, Apr 02 2015

Play Dough can be fun but also smelly and expensive. We have the solution for you! Don't waste money on store bought play dough, make your own all natural no cook dough with Kool-Aid. Kool-Aid provides an amazing color and event better scent:

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1/2 packet of Kool-Aid
  • 1/2 cup of salt
  • 2 tbs of cream of tartar
  • 1 tbs of canola oil
  • 1 cup of boiling water
Directions:
  1. Cover surface with parchment paper
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl except the water.
  3. Add the Kool-Aid mix to the boiling water and stir until Kool-Aid dissolves.
  4. Add the water and Kool-Aid mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until mixture is combined.
  5. Kneed mixture until you have the perfect texture. If you feel the dough is dry add a tad bit of water. After a few times of using the playdough you will need to wet hands and kneed into the dough to avoid a dry flaking mixture.
Enjoy!
